Presenting our live-action commercial for Oxfam Presents: Stand as One - Live at Glastonbury 2016 album. Made to promote Oxfam's Stand As One Campaign in support of displaced and separated refugee families.
Star of the commercial is the album vinyl sleeve, plus a selection of handmade and pre-made objects all controlled by a cast of helping hands. The sequence was shot in one take (take 30!) - with a bit of post production magic.

IHP + is a group of partners committed to improving the health of citizens in developing countries. F&E produced this "about us" film in a textured illustrated style to explain their vital service.
Using characters combined with colourful illustrations is a great way to convey a lot of information to an audience in an interesting way. As shown by this informational animation created for US realtor, PocketLister.
A painterly animation style introduces Google's Crisis Response system; an online tool which uses technology to collate and share vital information in times of emergency. The animation is based on a live-action edit created with a combination of stock footage and and footage shot in-house by F&E. Using the edit as a base, we painted the narrative frame by frame to create a cohesive hand-painted narrative.
This same technique of using footage as a base to "trace" the action could be applied to a variety of different illustration styles; from black and white ink drawings or cut-out paper illustrations to clean vector illustration styles. Using the footage as a base to gain realism in movement and settings.
Presenting a mixed media film created as an internal film for O2. The Fanbook was shot using stopframe animation and extra elements composited in After Effects. Creating a neat showcase for a large amount of information, presented in and interesting and friendly way.
An internal short film for Betfair using character animation and typography. Our main character narrates the script which was spoken by Betfair's CEO at a company conference.
F&E are always keen to develop and experiment with new styles. In addition to showcasing our current work, we are always keen to present references for additional animation styles we can produce. To create original and relevant animations that meet a specific brief.
