NSPCC School Services
A series of character based educational animations created for primary school children. Giving them the knowledge they need to stay safe from harm and to speak out if they’re worried.
F&E worked closely with NSPCC on a series of films for their Schools Service. With 1 in 5 children in the UK having suffered abuse, NSPCC Schools Service addresses this problem directly. Visiting primary schools across the UK and Channel Islands to give children the knowledge they need to stay safe from harm and to speak out if they’re worried.
Our series of animations were created as an additional teaching tool for this vital service. Tackling incredibly difficult and emotive subjects. The films each tell the story of a young child experiencing neglect or abuse. Once the stories are told, a pause point allows teachers to discuss and explain each scenario with their young audience.
Following on from this, the second half of the films go on to show how NSPCC can help. Offering practical help to improve harmful situations and creating a positive resolution to empower children. Encouraging them to speak out, be heard, stay safe and most importantly, get help if they need it.
To show sensitivity towards the individual stories, we have created a montage to showcase the poignant work this essential service provides.
