Exciting new London based creative agency, Fred & Eric has officially launched. With a directive staff made up of Sarah Killeen, Jamie Pigram and Maggie Rogers; who met whilst working at design and animation agency Mr & Mrs Smith.
Fred & Eric will offer clients a unique, multidisciplinary creative service. Specialising in a playful combination of design, illustration, animation and craft, to create work that is inspirational and unique.
Although only officially launched last week, Fred & Eric has already caught the attention of Richard Curtis and Comic Relief. Impressed with previous work from the directive staff; they've commissioned the new agency to create an animation for Red Nose Day. As highlighted in Campaign's recent article.
Creative Director Maggie Rogers says; “Our ethos is that design should be fun and engaging. As a company, we place a strong emphasis on collaboration. We want to produce stand-out work that utilises traditional craft and design techniques. From specialist model makers, illustrators, animators, photographers etc. Where possible we want to make things for real, ensuring that each job will have a unique style and approach.”
Fred & Eric’s logo will constantly change to keep the brand fresh and move with graphic trends. This will also help to reinforce the companies’ focus on collaboration.
Rogers continues; “We hope to choose a new ampersand design to showcase every month. Promoting the work and skills of the variety of people we work with; from woodcuts to illustrations, to photographs or 3D graphic representations, we welcome all submissions!”
