All female animation agency Fred & Eric ring in ten-year anniversary with website revamp and renewed commitment to core ethos.
Award-winning London based design and animation agency, Fred & Eric, are celebrating their ten-year anniversary by officially launching a newly revamped website today.
The all-female lead and owned company has recently invested its time and energy into refreshing its branding and website with a distinct new look. The Fred & Eric team, whose highlights have included projects for Google, Channel 4, Netflix and NSPCC, wanted to ring in their next decade of creative animation with a revamp.
While the way they work has changed over the years, F&E’s core ethos has remained the same; producing beautifully designed and animated visuals with a strong emphasis on story-telling, and ensuring each individual brief is matched to the right creative team.
"The months building up to Fred & Eric’s 10th anniversary have been the strangest of times. We wanted to begin 2021 on a positive note” says Fred & Eric’s Creative Director, Maggie Rogers. “It would have been easy to write off 2020, but mid-way through the first lock-down we decided to pour our energy into creativity rather than dwelling on uncertainty. This manifested in a brand new website and showreel”. The website was designed in-house and built-in collaboration with Jack Pritchard.
The team are drawing on other positives from their 2020 experience, one major benefit being the increased flexibility of working remotely. Maggie continues “As a company, we have always placed a strong emphasis on collaboration, giving us the flexibility to build the right creative team to match each brief. This year remote working has been fast-tracked as the norm, which has enabled Fred & Eric to engage with talented artists all over the world, more than ever before”.
Fred & Eric’s brand new website showcases a wide range of styles including 2D and 3D animations featuring character animation, explainers, typographic films, motion graphics and handmade stop motion shorts, to name just a few!
“It seems like only yesterday that we were sat in a cafe, scribbling down plans to start our own agency on a napkin”, says Jamie Pigram, Head of Production. “Our new site reflects how we as a company have developed, and our work evolved over the last ten years. We’re excited to see where the next ten will take us”.
